Courthouse Art and Vendor Fair

Join us at the courthouse for an Art and Vendor Fair!

The Courthouse Art and Vendor Fair will be located on the beautiful and historic Crawford County Courthouse lawn at 220 N Beaumont Road, Prairie du Chien, WI.

Saturday June 17, 2023 10 am – 5 pm

Sunday June 18, 2023 10 am – 4 pm

Prairie du Chien Main Street is proud to promote the historical event from 1673 of Marquette and Jolliet that gave many generations the ability to transport people, products and other goods by water from the Great Lakes, to Prairie du Chien through the Mississippi River to the Ocean. To honor this historical event the Prairie du Chien MainStreet Program will be hosting three full days of activities and entertainment. We are expecting 25-30K visitors. Artist/Vendor requirements

Please indicate # of booths on your application. You will be required to have a tent/shelter with a suitable anchor and required to bring your own tent, displays, tables and chairs. This is an outdoor event and the fair will go on rain or shine. Vendors should prepare accordingly. In an event of high winds or inclement weather, booth owners are responsible and liable for the damage. This is not a juried event but a quality art fair. So all work must be original work. Work which has been produced with commercial methods is not permitted. Submit photo/s of your talent with your application so we can coordinate set-up. Friday night tent set up will be available 5-7:30 pm. You must check-in before you set up. Set-up must be complete by 9:30 am each day as the show starts at 10:00 am both days. Tear down can begin at 4 pm Sunday. No early tear downs.

Electricity is not available. After you unload we ask that you move your vehicle to the designated parking area. The Art Fair is located on the lawn of the Courthouse, police and sheriff’s departments. A security person will be checking this area and other event locations in the area during the night. You are responsible to properly secure your area or you can choose to take your items and reset in the morning. Art vendors will be placed within the limits of our areas. The 350th Expedition Committee reserves the right to change vendor locations without notice in accordance with changes that are made to the areas. The space assigned at vendor check-in is the only space allotted to you. Displays must be contained within your space.
